Experiment with monster detection
« on: January 17, 2015, 01:04:32 pm »
i have made an experiment with and without mob detection.
With mob detection : when there are no mobs near my char. The char walk slower than it should be(walking speed= 610)
without mob detection : char walks faster than with mobs detection with 610 speed walking. I have did this experimenent many times to make sure for myself.
Is it happen for everyone or just for me ?  ???

Walking speed depends on network, not on mob detection.
Mob detection and walking are two separated threads. One can't pause/stop another.

There is only one situation when mob detection could cause slow walking - fake mobs. But you can clearly see when that happens, because char moves step by step for few seconds and bot displays monster name in the first tab.

yes i know it.
but my connection speed around 1mbps and i did the experiment with 2 char at the same time, one walking almost not stopping(without mob detect) and the other one stopping a little time almost in every step. Strange :/
